American Sign Language is the third most used language in the United States. It is a native language for people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. More and more states are now recognizing American Sign Language as a foreign language and will be taught in schools. It is also encouraged for babies to learn sign before they learn to speak. 
IMPACT Inc. offers beginners American Sign Language classes. In the class, students will learn the basic conversational signs. The best way to learn to sign is to be interactive rather than learn it directly from the book. It runs for 12 weeks once a week. There’s a fee involved in taking the class that includes the books and class rate.
