Self Advocacy

Organizations like IMPACT cannot be all things to all  people. We cannot take up every individual's cause. Our advocacy efforts are  more focused on broad issues and systems change, not on an individual's personal issues. It is critical that individuals learn the skills to be their own  advocates. Self Advocacy services are intended to support and enhances an individual's ability to be assertive when faced with obstacles in pursuit of  independent living goals.
